OFFICE FOR YOUTH IN E - FORTRESS

Second Internet e-festival was organized in the trenches of the Nis Fortress in the period of 3 to 5 September. E-fortress is a festival that promotes the Internet, entrepreneurship, multimedia art, and technological innovations. Festival program is designed to connect learning and fun through seminars visits, workshops and lectures. Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy in the concerts and parties under the open sky.

E-fortress is a unique international festival in Serbia, which aspires are to become one of the City of Nis brands. Symbolical are trenches at the fortress, where the festivals are held and creative battles are also won.

One of the goals of E-fortress is to develop and accumulate the creativity of youth. After the invitation of the organizers of E-fortress Office for Youth got its booth. In the conversation with young people who have visited Nis trenches promo material was given by the Office, with the aim to introduce young people with the existence and work of the Office and that the Office Coordinator will get familiar with proposals, suggestions and needs of youth. After the Festival end, it can be said that the  Office successfully completed its task and is ready in the coming period to work on responding the needs of young people that has been paid.

In discussions with the young people organization, functioning and activities were explained of Palilula Office for Youth. Office for Youth was established by Palilula, Pantelej Municipalities and  Center for Civil Society Development – `Protekta`. Office for Youth is a continuous and systematic service that represents a major sustainable link between youth organizations and institutions that follow a process of support and affirmation of the idea of young people representing the systematic care of young people to improve their lives. Youth Office in Nis, was opened with the continuing support of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, conducted under the National Youth Strategy, as the foundation for the decentralization of power, guided by local coordinators who implement the National Strategy at the local level, in constant collaboration with other offices in Serbia and other relevant organizations.

Office for Youth is a service that provides support to young people with complete information related to the everyday life of young people, in order to raise the quality of their life, logistic support-volunteer resources, in particular the ideas of young people and their groups with other organizations-institutions, improving inter-generational communication, getting young as an important factor in participation in social life of a country.
